Now, to make the larger flying geese units, place a Color 1 square right sides together atop a Color 3 larger rectangle, with edges aligned. On the back of the top square lightly mark the diagonal. Sew ON this diagonal line. Cut off the excess seam allowance. Press the remainder towards the corner. Repeat this with another Color 1 square on the other end of the rectangle. Make four units like this. Make four more small flying geese units using Color 2 squares and small Color 3 rectangles...  

Using Color 3 squares, the small flying geese units, and the extra corner unit...construct one of the block's center unit as shown at left....

Now lay out all of the blocks units as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows, pressing the top and bottom rows to the center, and the middle row to the outside. Join the three rows as this Coronation is done!

This wall hanging boasts five Coronation blocks alternated with plain Color 2 squares with the corners sewn off as Color 1 triangles!
