Now we'll piece the block! First sew the shorter paper pieced units to the blocks sides, pressing seams towards outer strips. Then sew on the pieced top and bottom strips...and it's all done!

This quilt block makes outstanding secondary patterning! Shown here are four blocks by five, with just a simple plain Color 3 border! Hope you like it...I sure do! :o)

Color 1 needs: a strip about 3" x 22" for paper piecing

Color 2

Color 2 needs: one 3-1/8" x 12-1/2" strip AND a strip about 3" x 13" for paper piecing

Color 3

Color 3 needs: one 3-1/8" x 12-1/2" strip AND a strip about 3" x 13" for paper piecing

Color 4

Color 4 needs: two 3-1/8" x 12-1/2" strips AND a strip about 5" x 25" for paper piecing
