** Preparing the Pieces **

All measurements include a 1/4" seam allowance and are based on 42" of usable fabric after removal of selvedge edges. *WOF means width of fabric. 

 

From Color 1:

Cut 13 strips 2" x WOF: sub-cut these into13 strips 2" x 14" ea., and 12 strips 2" x 16" ea.

Cut 3 strips 2-5/8" x WOF: sub-cut these into 12 strips 2-5/8" x 10-1/2"

Cut 2 strips 2-3/8" x WOF: sub-cut these into 13 strips 2-3/8" x 4-3/4"

Cut eight strips 2" x WOF: Sub-cut these into 160  2" squares

Cut 2 strips 3-1/2" x WOF: sub-cut into 20  3-1/2" squares for sashing

Cut eight strips 2" x WOF. Sew together in pairs, end to end, for borders

 

From Color 2:

Cut six strips 4-1/2" x WOF: sub-cut these into 12 4-1/2" x 21" strips

Cut 7 strips 2-1/2" x WOF for binding

 

From Color 3:

Cut 3 strips 2-3/8" x WOF: sub-cut into 12  2-3/8" x 9-1/2" strips

Cut 3 strips 2" x WOF: sub-cut into 12  2" x 8" strips  ...on to Page 2!
