** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

Cut the Color 2 6-7/8" square in half once on the diagonal
to make two Half Square Triangles...
Next, use the template provided above to cut two Color 3 trapezoids from the 4" x 11" strip-there's one template-just rotate it to get two shapes from the one strip... Now cut the Color 4 3-7/8" square in half once on the diagonal to make two Half Square Triangles... |

Using a scant 1/4" seam allowance now and throughout the block making, sew a Color 4 Half Square Triangle to the top and bottom of the Color 1 3-1/2" square... |

Then add the trapezoids to the left and right...on to Page 2! |
