....This was a wonderfully SCARY day......I have to use the word scared, because I truly believe it is how everyone would describe it....In getting to know eachother over the net we came to find out that several of us chatters live around the metropolitan area...We had talked several times about getting together and meeting one another and finally we decided to why not make it at my house!!! The excitement grew with anticipation as that brisk day in October of '97 was coming close...I also think that most of the chatters in the room were waiting to see how this one turned out so that they too would have meets of their own!!! ....DDT and Fandz were the first to arrive at my house..They had spent the weekend so at least if an ax murderer showed up at my doorstep he would have to get thru them before me!!! hehehehehe ...Also included in the list of attendees were Chat, PJF, Duchess, Scooby, Budman and Pauper.......yes i said Pauper!!! The nine of us got along fabulously....but I really think a lot of the credit has to go to the silly string!!!....We chatted, we ate, we got to know each other!!!...I have to say here in fairness to everyone....I think they will all agree with me that yes, we were all indeed very scared, and very nervous to actually meet each other face to face!!!! I truly wish I had taken a picture of everyone that had come thru my door and capture that look of relief when no one was carrying a pistol or other weapon and came to find out that we really did like each other!!!....Could you just imagine Chat pullin up my driveway all alone to me opening that door!!!! That sight alone could shock the heck outta anybody, but ya know what......We now can't wait to see each other, and everytime we do we become closer......right Chat??? = ) .....I'm really sorry i have but only these two pics to show....and please if anyone else has more, please send them to owl.....hey duch....ya still got them in that undeveloped film?????
