FQ's will be fine!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try some Walking Squares Blocks! You will need to print out four copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. EX: If you want a Walk Sq A block, print out four A's!

After your paper piecing for (whichever) block is done, join the four sections to make the block! Don't stop there though! You Can Mix and Match sections! They all fit together!...or Take it a step further, and use String Pieced Fabrics to fill the areas. The Sky's the Limit on this one!

Here's a Blinder of a Wall Hanging, just so you can see them laid out beside each other! Go Forth! Make Wild Quilts!!

Happy Quilting!
