It's a 12" block!

Please abide by the Terms and Conditions of use! :o)

Left click on the image at left for templates! :o) This should print out to a 6" square...if it doesn't, you will need to resize it! Cut apart and add 1/4" seam allowances to all sides of each piece to get individual correct templates!

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

After you have printed off your templates...cut out the pieces you will need (one "D" piece is enough)...lay these out on new paper; add 1/4" to all sides of each....cut out the new templates! Use these to cut out the fabrics!

Using all 1/4" seams, first sew small Color 1 triangle E to trapezoid D. Press seam allowances towards the darker fabric. Make four of these units...

Then sew a Color 2  B triangle to the previously made unit. Press seam allowances towards the large triangle. Make four of these...

Now sew a Color 2  C triangle to trapezoid D. Press seam allowances towards the triangle. Make four of these...

Then sew a Color 1 triangle A to the previously made unit. Press seam allowances towards the Color 1 triangle. Make four of these...

Join the units just made as shown at left to make four quarter blocks...on to Page 2!
