Then cut the Color 1  2- 1/2" x 13" strip into two 2- 1/2" x 6- 1/2" rectangles...

Now cut the Color 2  2- 1/2" x 20" strip into eight 2- 1/2" squares...

Next cut the Color 2  2- 1/2" x 13" strip into two 2- 1/2" x 6- 1/2" rectangles...

Then cut the Color 3  5" x 25" strip into twenty 2- 1/2" squares...

Lastly, cut a Color 1 and Color 3  2-7/8" x 28-3/4" strip into ten 2-7/8" squares of each. Cut each of these squares in half one to make twenty half square triangles of each...

Sew each of the Color 1 half square triangles to a Color 3 half square triangle, using a 1/4" seam and pressing the seam allowance towards the darker fabric...

Now using all the squares and rectangles we cut, plus the half squares you just sewed, make the units you see at left, making the number of each unit that you see written to it's right. Use as always 1/4" seams when making the units and alternate pressing directions by row...on to Page 2!
