Sew a Color 2  1-1/2" x 2-1/2" rectangle to the left and right of the Color 3 2-1/2" square, pressing seams towards the rectangles. Add a square/short rectangle combo strip to the top and bottom of this unit, pressing seams towards the combo strips. This is the Center Unit...



Now lay out all units as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows, and then join those rows to complete your block!



Shown here is an easy small child's snuggli-quilt made from five Tick Tack Toe blocks and four Half Square/Quarter Square blocks!
