Then embellish the block as desired. Here I show a blanket stitch around just the apron, but you could stitch around each part, or not do any at all! Your choice! The quilt below was made of Sue's heading in two directions, so make sure to reverse your cutting and appliquéing if you chose to do them this way! You can really have fun with this pattern, dress Sue for the seasons, or add charms, flowers...you name it!!
