Draw a 6 " x 3 " accurate rectangle. Find the half point of all sides. Connect these to make the center diamond. Cut these carefully apart on the lines. Place each piece onto another sheet of paper or template material, trace around the original template, then add 1/4" to each side of each piece. Cut out and use these new pieces as templates to cut out your pieces of fabric. You will need FOUR Color 1 diamonds cut from the 13" x 7" fabric strip, for each block you will be making. You also need four of each corner triangle unit as well...two of each from Color 2 and two of each from Color 3. |
