Square Bear - Page 2

To make a cute and easy bowtie, cut a rectangle of fabric twice the desired length and width of the tie. Fold this in half lengthwise with right sides together. Stitch the ends and long edge, leaving a small opening. Turn right sides out.  Lightly stuff with a tiny bit of poly fill, then slipstitch the opening closed. Fold the two ends in to meet each other in the center, and stitch them together. Pinch the bow together in the center, and wrap the center with a tube of some matching fabric, securing the wrap ends in the back of the bow. Stitch this securely to the bears neck.....and that's it! :o)

 

 

This quilt shows four rows of three blocks each. Each block has a border of plaid matching the bear. Then there is a thin border in the background color, and another border in plaid...
