Next cut the Color 3  2" x 14" strip into four 2" x 3-1/2" rectangles...

Now cut the Color 3  2" x 10" strip into four 2" squares...

Then cut the Color 4  3-1/2" x 26" strip into four 3-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangles...

Lastly, mark and cut the Color 4  3-1/2" x 14" strip into four 3-1/2" squares...

Make the center flying geese units by placing a Color 1 small square lined up right sides together atop the left end of a Color 3 rectangle. As always, all seams should be 1/4" seams! On the back of the top square, lightly mark the diagonal, and sew ON this marked line. Cut off the excess seam allowance, and press the remainder towards the center. Repeat this with another small Color 1 square on the other end of the rectangle. Make four of these units...

Sew a Color 3 to either end of two of the previously made flying geese units...

Sew the remaining two flying geese units to either side of the center Color 5 square...on to Page 2!
