** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

First layer together your backing and batting, with backing right side down, and batting atop that. Baste by your favorite method. If you use pins, be sure they are out of the way while we Quilt-As-We-Go-Along! 1/4" seams are used throughout the making of this quilt! |

First sew three column as shown at left, each one has four 12" squares with short sashing strips sewn between...on to Page 2! |
