Lay out all your units as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows, pressing row seams in alternating directions. Join the rows and the block is done!

Here are four blocks by five with a simple pieced border, shown in period fabrics! Yes! The may very well have used these colors together! LOL! :o)

Color 2 Color 2 needs: one 5-1/4" square AND one 4-7/8" x 9-3/4" strip
