A super easy and fast block...great for beginners!

4 Blocks x 6 Blocks makes a perfect Project Linus Quilt Sized Quilt!

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** 

Start by marking and cutting the Color 1  2-1/2" x 10" strip into four 2-1/2" squares...

Next mark and cut the Color 2  5" x 10" strip into eight 2-1/2" squares...

Then mark and cut the Color 3  5" x 9" strip into four  2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangles...

Mark and cut the Color 4  2-1/2" x 10" strip into four 2-1/2" squares...

Using all 1/4" seams, sew your squares and rectangles together into the rows shown at left. Press row seams in alternating directions. Sew the rows together...and that's all there is to this one!
