Pigeon Toes Quilt Block

This makes a 10" block!...and is partly paper pieced!

First, after printing off four copies of each paper piecing section on lightweight paper, sew up those "toes"...then let's get on to...

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

 

 

Cut the Color 1  2-1/2" x 10" strip into four 2-1/2" squares...

 

 

Then cut the Color 2  2-1/2" x 32-1/2" strip into thirteen 2-1/2" squares...

 

 

Now using the squares you just cut plus the paper pieced "toe" units, sew rows, using as always SCANT 1/4" seams, and alternating pressing directions with each addition. Join the rows to make the block! :o) You did it!! :o) ...on to Page 2!
