Now sew the block's corner units, by sewing a half square to each pieced square/rectangle unit we just made. Sew another half square to the Color 1 squares. Sew these two new units together to make a corner. Make two of each of the corner units shown at far left, then piece the block as shown at  near left!

The quilt is four blocks by four, with sashing strips between the blocks and the rows, then an added background color border, and a pieced border finish it off!

Color 2 needs: one 1-1/2" x 7-1/2" strip
Color 3 Color 3 needs: one 3" x 9" strip AND one 1-1/2" x 10" strip AND one 1-1/2" x 6" strip AND one 2-7/8" x 11-1/2" strip
