Then, sew a two rectangle unit to the left side of a rect./square/rect. unit. Press seam allowance towards the outer strip of rectangles. Make two of these units...

Add a square/rect. unit to the top of the unit made in the previous step. Press seam allowance towards the bottom unit. Make two of these units...

Join the two block halves along the long seam to complete the block! Press seam to one side....and that's Patience Corners!! :o) Good Job!!  

This quilt is but one way you can arrange the blocks as you plan how to sew them together! The whole thing is then surrounded by a thin border strip in Color 2, and then a wider one in Color 1.
