Here the Color
2 4-1/2" x 18" strip has been cut into four 4-1/2"
squares, and the the Color 1 4-1/2" x
22-1/2" strip into five 4-1/2" squares...

Lay them out as they will appear in your block... |

Start sewing together the squares... |

Here you see the back of the rows when the horizontal rows have been sewn, with seams pressed to the dark sides.... |

Lastly....here is the back again once the horizontal rows have been sewn together...One perfect Nine Patch!...and thanks to Ruthie for the great photo shoot of this block being made! |
