The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a No Place Like Home Block! You will need to print out two copies of the template A page, and one copy of the other two template pages per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric should be plenty.

After your units are pieced, sew the triangle units together in pairs, and the center square units together. Then add the triangles to the center square and it's a done deal! :o) 

The quilt is four blocks by five with triple thin borders! Very Optical!
