Fat Quarters will be fine!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try the Kentucky Chain! You will need to print out two copies of unit 1, two copies of unit 2 and one copy of each unit 3 pieces, (which get taped together on the TAPE HERE line) on very lightweight paper.

When your paper piecing is done, join the units as shown at left, using as always 1/4" seams....and that's one block!

Good Job!! :o)

This quilt has just 14 blocks, with a pieced center...it also looks beautiful with a plain white center, which would allow room for some gorgeous quilting motifs!

Happy Quilting Folks!
