Sew Color 2 half square triangles to the left and right of each flying geese unit. Sew a Color 2 quarter square triangle to the top. Now add Color 4 half square triangles to the left and right of each unit. Make four units like this... |

To make the blocks center join four Color 1 2" squares, four Color 4 short rectangles, and one Color 1 1-1/2" square to make the uneven nine patch shown at left... |

Sew Color 4 4-1/2" rectangles to the sides of the center nine patch. Sew Color 1 1-1/2" squares to the ends of the remaining two Color 4 rectangles, then add those to the top and bottom of the center unit...take a breath... :o) |

Lay out all the units as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows, then sew the rows together! ...on to Page 3! |
