The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a John's Pinwheel block! You will need to print out
two copies of the PP template page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. Fat quarters should be plenty! |

Once your paper piecing is complete, sew the four
units together as shown at left and your block is done! |

To give you a layout idea...here on it's side is a
quilt made of twelve blocks with sashings and coping strips, and
extra paper piecing units as borders. (corner post cutouts at the
lower corners) This would be very small...you'll want to make more
blocks!
