Now crease your strips to find the center of the long side of each. Matching the centers, sew together two stacks as shown at left--one for each corner of the block...

OR You can paper piece this part using the template

If you are regular piecing, use the outside dark lines of the (PP) template to cut your corner triangles to the correct size. ( If you have paper pieced them, they are all done) Sew together the three center diagonal units. Add the corner triangles and your block is complete! Congrats!

This quilt is five blocks by six, and was done with identical blocks. It will work equally well with all scraps-or with a common Color 1 throughout the quilt and a variety of fabrics elsewhere!
