This block is dedicated To President George W. Bush, and was designed in the days following 9/11, in reaction to seeing President Bush at Ground Zero.

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try an Honor & Courage Block! You will need to print out two copies of the template page, per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric should be plenty!

After the units are paper pieced, join the corner units then sew the four quarters together as shown at left...and that's One Done! :o) 

The quilt is four blocks by five, with a pieced border.
