Hanging Diamond - Page 3

Referring to the Color Numbers shown at left, and using a scant 1/4" seam allowance, make one unit F as shown at left. Press seams away from the center...
Now use the same scant 1/4" seam to sew together the strips in the order shown at left. This completes your block! :o)

Here are four blocks by five, about the right size for the crib or toddler quilt. In the spirit of the postage stamp quilts made years ago...just keep on adding blocks to make one of these for your adult sized bed, and you will have a real family heirloom!

Color 2 Color 2 needs: (orange) one 1-1/2" x 23-1/2" strip Color 4 Color 4 needs: (yellow) one 1-1/2" x 7-1/2" strip
Color 5 Color 5 needs: one 3" x 34-1/2" strip AND one 1-1/2" x 7" strip
