** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |
|
|
Using the templates provided, cut four small squares and one large square from the Color 1 7-1/2" square... |
|
|
Then cut four trapezoids from the Color 2 11" square... |
|
|
...and cut eight quarter square triangles from the Color 2 3" x 6-1/2" strip... |
|
|
Now, using a scant 1/4" seam here and through the block construction, sew Color 2 quarter square triangles to adjacent sides of each Color 1 small square, making four of the units shown at left... |

Next sew the previously made pieced triangle units to opposite sides of two Color 2 traps and press seams towards the triangles. Make two units like this...on to Page 2! |
