Flag and Heart - Page 2

Then sew Flag C in the upper right corner, starting on the outside edge and sewing in towards the block center, stopping 1/4" from the end of the flag/corner. Backstitch to secure stitching. Press seam towards Flag B...

Now turn the block and fold the whole block to the left, right sides together, lining up the one un-sewn seam. Put your needle back in the fabric at the point where you left off stitching the last seam, and sew from that point to the edge, backstitching at the beginning of the seam...and you've done it!

This wall hanging is just nine Flag and Heart blocks, with narrow sashings...and a wider border with Heart cornerstones!

Happy Quilting Everyone!
