The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Five Pointed Star! You will need to print out one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric will be plenty to make your block!

After the three units are paper pieced, join them as shown at left, and there's One Star! :o)

The quilt is four rows of three stars each, with a narrow border and sashing strips, surrounded by a wider border, with appliquéd verse :o) Click here for a set of letters you can use...will need increasing in size!

Happy Quilting All!
