Then, using the small squares, the large center square, and the pieced half square units, piece the block. Press the seams of the top and bottom rows towards the center, and the seams of the center row to the outside...and you just learned how to make another block! :o)

The quilt is four blocks by five in straight settings, with just a simple binding to frame it all! Every other block is rotated 1/4 turn.
