Then piece the block as shown at left, using the star tip units and background squares. Alternate pressing directions with each addition...and this baby is Done!

The quilt shows four blocks by five, with very narrow pieced plaid sashings, two thin background border strips and one pieced plaid border strip. The binding is also made from pieced plaids. Hope you Like it!

Color 2 Color 2 needs: one solid (from the colors in your plaid) 4-1/4" square
Color 3 Color 3 needs: one random cream or warm tan 3-1/2" x 17-1/2" strip AND one  4-1/4" square
