This makes an 8" block and is paper pieced! It's a 1930's pattern!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Dogtooth Violet Block! You will need to print out one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters should be plenty!

After the units are paper pieced, sew the single flying goose unit to the other center unit, then sew the longer center units to the sides...

Sew the four corner units to the center unit...and it's all done! :o)

Congratulations on another Block Notch in your Quilting Belt!

...on to Page 2!
