Dewey's Victory - Page 2

Now lay out all units as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows, pressing the top and bottom row seams to the center, and the middle row seam to the outside. Sew the rows together and you are done! 

Here are just five Dewey's Victory blocks alternated with simple Nine Patch blocks!

One of the most significant events of the Spanish-American War occurred on May 1, 1899—the day Commodore Dewey and his Asiatic Squadron defeated the Spanish fleet in Manila Bay. In the years during and after the war, George Dewey became one of the war's most celebrated heroes.
