Crossed Square 2 - Page 2

Now lay out all your units as shown at left, with the extra Color 1 square as the block's center. Sew three horizontal rows, pressing the top and bottom row seams to the outside, and the middle row seam to the center. Join the rows, and the block is finished!

 

Here are four blocks by five, with Color 2 and Color 3 trapezoid positions reversed in alternate blocks!

Color 1 needs: one 1-1/2" x 6" strip AND one 1-1/2" square

Color 2

Color 2 needs: one 3-1/2" x 17" strip AND one 1-7/8" x 7-1/2" strip

Color 3

Color 3 needs: one 3-1/2" x 13" strip AND two 1-1/2" x 6" strips
