The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Criss Cross 2 block! You will need to print out two copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat quarters will be ample!

After doing all your paper piecing, sew together two pairs of adjacent triangle units in a scant 1/4" seam, then join those along the middle diagonal seam, and the block is done!

This quilt, shown on its side, is four blocks by five with double plain borders!
