Using the Color1/Color 2 pieced squares units, with Color 2 on top, sew a Color 1 1-1/2” rectangle to the left side of 4 units and then to the right side of the remaining 4 units, again with Color 2 up, as shown at left.  Press seam towards the newly added rectangle...

Using the four 2-1/2" Color 2 squares, the two Color 1 2-1/2" squares, and the Color 1  2-1/2" x 6-1/2" rectangle, construct one center unit as shown at left...

Now sew a Color 1  1-1/2" x 6-1/2" strip to the left and right of the center unit, pressing seams towards the newly added strips...

Then add a Color 1  1-1/2" x 8-1/2" strip to the top and bottom, again pressing towards the newly added strips...

Now we are going to lay out all the units as shown at left, and sew together units to make rows! Join those rows to finish off your block! Good Job!
