Chain and Square - Page 2

Now piece the block! Lay out all your pieced units as shown at left, using the extra Color 1 square as the block's center. Sew these into five horizontal rows, pressing in alternating directions by row. Join the rows...and you are done!

The quilt is just three blocks by four, with 3" sashing strips and cornerstones between the blocks, surrounded by a narrow border, a pieced Four Patch border, and another narrow border :o)
