This makes a 6" block, and is paper pieced!

A Fat Quarter of each fabric will be plenty!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Bold Star! You will need to print out one copy of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper.

Once your paper piecing is done, join the row units as shown at left, using a scant 1/4" seam, and pressing rows in alternating directions...

The quilt is striking!...here's a small example...this would be about 27"  x 33", as they are only 6" blocks...so make a ton! :o)

Happy Quilting Everyone!

Here's a pix of one that Linda made!

..and here's Jan's!
