This makes an 16" block and is made using a combination of regular piecing templates, and rotary cut pieces!

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

Start by marking and cutting sixteen lily pieces from two Color 2" x 28" strips. Use templates A and A-rev...

Then mark and cut the five Color 2 triangles from  a 3-1/2" x 9" strip using template B...

Next mark the diagonal on a Color 3  8-7/8" square and cut on this marked line. You need one of these triangles for the block. Save the other for another project! 

Cut three 4-7/8" squares from the Color 4  4-7/8" x  14-5/8" strip. Stack these squares and cut them once on the diagonal to get six half square triangles. You will only need five of these for the block. Cut one Color 3  4-7/8" square, and cut this in  half once on the diagonal to make two half square triangles. Cut five 4-7/8" squares from the Color 5  4-7/8" x 24-3/8" strip, Stack and cut these once on the diagonal to make ten half square triangles. You will  only need nine of them for this block...

Now cut two 4-1/2" squares from a Color 5  4-1/2" x 9" strip. Using template E , cut four squares from the 2-1/2 " x 10" strip. Using template D, cut eight triangles from the 2-1/2" x 24" strip... now on to Page 2
