Sew two of each of the rectangle units shown at left, pressing seams towards the rectangles...

Then piece the block by sewing the shorter rectangle units to the sides of the center unit, and adding the longer rectangles to the top and bottom. 

The quilt is four blocks by five, with a pieced border :o)

Color 1 needs: one 1-1/2" x 8" strip  AND one 1-1/2" x 6" strip Color 4 Color 4 needs: one 1-1/2" x 15" strip

Color 2

Color 2 needs: one fat quarter is AMPLE to do the paper piecing Color 5 Color 5 needs: one 2-7/8" x 5-3/4" strip

Color3

Color 3 needs: one 1-1/2" x 8" strip  AND one 1-1/2" x 6" strip Color 6 Color 6 needs: one fat quarter is MORE than enough to do the paper piecing
