After you've done your paper piecing, sew together pairs of rectangle units as shown at left. Make two sets of each color placement...

Now piece the block! Sew three horizontal rows, pressing row seams in alternating directions, then join the rows to finish it off!

 The quilt is three blocks by four, and each block has a surrounding frame of Color 1 or Color 2. This is all surrounded by a VERY narrow coping border, and then a pieced border!
